The First Draft

June 6-9, 2021

I finally convinced Noah to go with me to Orlando! We were there from the 6 to the 9, and it was amazing!

We stayed at Dockside Inn and Suites on Universal Orlando Resort property. We went to Volcano Bay for the first time (Noah loves water parks and Kenzie & I have never been), and I got to ride the VelociCoaster on the last day of the technical rehearsal!

It was definitely a last minute decision to go, but it was 1000% worth it. I’d been really anxious lately, and since the trip my fingernails have actually looked like… grown up fingernails? Whatever you’d classify as fingernails that haven’t been chewed off into nubs. It’s kind of gross but it’s an anxious habit I’ve had for a long time.

I still haven’t gotten to ride Hagrid’s, but I’ll get there eventually. I almost made it on this time, but then the ride went down… I didn’t want to wait, I didn’t want to make everyone else wait, just to see if it might come back up. So we went to Seuss Landing instead and it’s just as cute as I remember!

It was a quick, relatively intense trip, and we were exhausted by the end of it. I already can’t wait to go back! We are aiming for attending Halloween Horror Nights in September. It’ll depend a little bit on my NEW JOB though (blog post to come) so we’ll see what happens!
