What can I say, I love series that focus on crime. This series is about a woman named Eve who has a bit of an obsession with it. Specifically a certain female assassin that has been working internationally for who knows how long.
Her job isn’t to conduct investigations though, so she eventually gets fired and then recruited by a woman who says she’s with MI6. She’s been picked to run a secret investigation looking in to this woman, who they come to call Villanelle.
The show follows Eve as she looks for Villanelle, and we get to watch as she navigates her obsessive search for an assassin and her relationships with her friends and family, who either don’t know what’s going on or don’t approve. After all, how could anyone just sit back and watch as their spouse searched for an assassin? Obviously they don’t want to be found, and you never know what lengths people will go to.
Eve is played by the AMAZING Sandra Oh, and the rest of the cast is just as talented. Needless to say, this show is binge-worthy and I highly recommend checking it out!
