My First Meteor Shower!

I feel like there’s probably been on on my island by now, but I must have missed it. So I’ve been patiently waiting for Isabelle to announce a meteor shower, and yesterday was my lucky day! I’ve never even seen a shooting star (Again, I must just miss them. Maybe I need to play at night more…), and it frustrates me a bit when I’m looking at the recipes I have that require star fragments. I want a Taurus bathtub and magic wand, but here I am. Waiting.

For anyone who is new to Animal Crossing or doesn’t know, shooting stars are random. I have that there’s a noise when one is shooting across your island sky, and you just have to look up and press A to make a wish, and a star fragment will appear in your island the next day. Meteor showers are random and rare, but you get some warning. Isabelle tells you there will be one during her announcements when you first log on, and then it will be that evening between 7pm and 4am. Meteor showers are lots of shooting stars all at once, so they’re a good way to get a bunch of star fragments for crafting. And you can participate on your friend’s islands, too!

My only regret is that my meteor shower was on a Monday, because I can’t stay up until 4am on a work night. Even so, I got some star fragments and I’m excited to craft a couple of new things!
