Happy May Day Villagers!

Today I got my May Day Ticket from Tom, and I went off to a mysterious island that set up by Nook himself (supposedly). If you’re playing and didn’t have time today, don’t worry! You have from May 1-7 to go to the airport and visit the island! He also admits how much hard work you’ve done during his little speech about it, so that was pretty neat.

When I got there, I found an island that had been completely turned in to a (mildly irritating) maze. It was sort of like a mix between a maze and an obstacle course. I could tell which way I needed to go, it was just the how that was a little bit harder. Specifically because you can only jump forward, not diagonally. Even so, it didn’t take long to get it figured out!

Rover was hanging out at the end of the maze, and he told me how Tom called him and asked him to set up a cool attraction on the island. By the time I got to talk to him, I had 9 bell tickets (worth 27,000 bells) and Rover gave me his suitcase! I don’t know if there’s a particular reason for the suitcase- as far as the internet knows, it’s just an object. I do think it’s pretty cool though, so now it’s hanging out in the living room of my house!
