The First Draft

Who would’ve thought turnips would be so valuable? I’ve paid off my next incline, my 2nd house expansion (3rd if you count moving to a house from a tent), and I have 1.7 million bells to spare. BIG thanks to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Discord server I’m a part of. Without them, I wouldn’t have sold all of my turnips for over 400 bells each. For anyone who’s new the the Stalk Market, here’s some tips:

1. Save your bells! Daisy Mae comes every Sunday, so do what you can to make money before then. Personally, I like to farm tarantulas. Just make sure you sell them to Tommy in person, as you lose 20% for selling at the drop box. You can farm tarantulas a couple of ways- either by landing on a Spider Island with your Nook Miles ticket, or by making the island you land on a Spider Island. You do this by destroying everything you can, and moving the rest to the beach. Once the island is essentially flat, you can scare away any bugs that appear until it’s the tarantula you’re looking for!

2. Spend all of your bells on turnips. This sounds excessive, but trust me. It’s easy enough to make more for whatever else you have going on. Just run around and pick up shells or something.

3. Join a Discord or Reddit! I’m a part of a Discord called Café Slider, and when people have high turnip prices they post in the server so they can let people come to their island! I found this server on a subreddit, but I’m sure there are more! You can also watch your bell prices, and sell you turnips on you’re own island, I just haven’t had a high turnip price yet so I’ve sold on other‘s islands through discord. All that’s left after that is to pack your pockets fj of turnips and wait to get on the island (be patient, there is a maximum number of visitors at a time)!

Quick, easy, and relatively painless. I wish the regular Stock Market worked so smoothly.
